Saving Organizations through Strategy,
Structure, Systems and Synergy

While many clients are healthy when they come to NWG, we also welcome organizations who are troubled. While many clients are healthy when they come to NWG, we also welcome organizations who are troubled. The problem might be financial struggles, theft, membership drop, damage to reputation, ineffective management, etc. While some organizations are too far gone to be saved, many others just need a fresh start with new approach. Tell us what is going on, and perhaps we can help.

  1. Strategy – We help organizations put together a strategy to solve their problems. This might be a short term plan of work or a three yeat strategic plan or both. We help you get a grip on the problems and start moving forward.
  2. Structure – We find that sometimes the organization’s structure is holding them back. We can help your group restructure, finding a governance model that is consistent with best practices and is customized for your needs.
  3. Systems – Our Six Systems operational model (click here) is designed to achieve excellence through best practices, shared resources, continuous quality improvement.metrics, and economies of scale. The Six Systems are Governance, Finance, Membership, Communications, Programs and Events. We fully support each system, with a high level of accountability and cross-training.
  4. Synergy – There is a magic that happens when you are running multiple associations. We are constantly learning how to do things better, sharing new ideas and uniting to solve problems. We have a learning culture and a balanced and practical mindset.

Our approach is unique in the world of association management. Chances are good we can help your group get back on track.

No RFP? Not a Problem
When organizations are troubled, leaders know they need to take action, but the thought of creating a RFP (Request for Proposal) is so daunting that they don’t make a change and the decline continues. We find that most RFPs are inaccurate and thus harm both the client and new management. We use our Six Systems approach to help you better understand and prioritize your needs. Yes, we want to get paid fairly for our work, but we also want to be sure that we are giving you the best shot at success within what you can afford to pay.
